Among Chinese historical figures, my favorite is Cao Cao. Like many of my peers who grew up playing Romance of the Three Kingdoms, reading the novel, or watching the series, the Three Kingdoms period is the most familiar segment of Chinese history to me. Is it necessary to rehabilitate Cao Cao?
