Why does the Japanese documentary "Evaporation Co., Ltd." only have a 2.9 rating online?

In Japan, thousands of people disappear without a trace every year. These people are called evaporators. Some are escaping debt, some are escaping overprotective parents, and some are escaping troubled relationships. With the help of the "Night Moving Company", they jumped out of their sinking status quo and started a new life in a place where no one knew them. The film follows these missing persons and the companies that provided assistance, watching their evaporation, exploring the inner contradictions and conflicts of people in desperate situations, and revealing the problems in the high-pressure environment of Japanese society.

"The Vanishing Company" is a documentary filmed on this theme. It had received high expectations from all walks of life before its release, and the calls continued, but why did it only record a low score of 2.9 on the Hong Kong Six Movie platform after its release (as of 19 /10/2024)?
