The renowned Hong Kong dining brand "Shum Chai Kee" celebrated the grand opening of its first "Shum Chai Kee Tea Restaurant" in Shenzhen, attracting significant attention from the media and food enthusiasts. The opening ceremony was graced by the presence of popular Hong Kong artists Mr. Edwin Siu and Ms. Carman Kwan. 

Edwin Siu, one of the attending guests, has been a hot topic in the news recently. Married to Priscilla Wong in 2018, the couple has been very loving. Recently, Priscilla shared the good news of her pregnancy on her personal IG. Shum Chai Kee surprised Edwin with a special offer of "Eat for Free for Life!" Edwin mentioned that he came to support his friend from his former record company who opened this new tea restaurant in mainland China. Unaware of the surprise beforehand, he was pleasantly surprised and said that he could come to eat anytime he couldn't decide what to eat in the future. Before the ribbon-cutting, Edwin had already tried some signature dishes like silky scrambled egg with BBQ pork rice and beef brisket, which he highly recommended to the audience. Edwin had opened a burger shop 2-3 years ago but couldn't manage it personally due to his busy schedule, so he didn't continue. When asked about the possibility of opening a shop with Priscilla, Edwin joked that it's more likely to be "self-funded and self-managed" to avoid Priscilla from doing laborious work, especially since they will be busy taking care of the baby. He hopes to promote restaurants opened by his friends that are unique and of high quality. Regarding his wife's recent health, Edwin said that Priscilla is getting healthier and happier, with no negative effects from the pregnancy, and he tries his best to meet her demands. In terms of diet, he mentioned that Priscilla has been eating smaller, more frequent meals and can't eat too much at once, possibly getting hungry every half hour. Due to his busy work schedule, it's hard for him to find time to cook. There will be an event with Priscilla in a few days. Regarding his tight work schedule, Priscilla understands, and Edwin said he would try to allocate time to work and spend time with family. When asked if the happy event brings more work opportunities, Edwin said that the baby brings luck to parents, and he will work harder to earn milk powder money for the baby.
