Recently, KFC in Hong Kong has been heavily promoting the long-missed return of its Popcorn Chicken, and many assumed that online users would be thrilled by the "prodigal son's" return. To everyone's surprise, the overwhelming sentiment online has been a call for KFC to bring back its beloved Potato Wedges instead, otherwise, they’d rather not engage with the brand at all. This raises an intriguing question: how has this once-iconic fast-food chain ended up in such a situation?
